The Theater Diploma & Personality Development course of JRNRVU, Udaipur will be inaugurated on the occasion of Eid, on 8th August at Sukhadia Rangmanch. The students of Government Secondary School, Goverdhan Vilas protested against the quality of food served in their Mid-day meal. Students were annoyed over the under-cooked and stale chapattis served in their meal today.
Krishna Panwar, Teacher informed, “This is not the first time that we have received such quality of food from the Nandi Foundation. The food is sub-standard each time and even the menu is not adhered to.” [..]
To facilitate education facilities among students of Tribal regions of South Rajasthan who cannot afford regular study expenses, Shramjeevi College will give admissions to such SC, ST and OBC students at half the regular fees from this session.
Vice Chancellor, Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot said, “These students will study in the evening classes which currently runs for students who work in daytime”.
“The fees for these students will be Rs. 4,500 for First year, instead of the regular fess structure of Rs. 9,000”, he added. [..]
Students of the Government Middle School, Amal Ka Kanta are forced to study in horrible conditions as the plaster on the walls is washed out and the stones are jutting out from the walls. The irony here is that the school had obtained a sanction of Rs 4 Lac 13 Thousand in the year 2002 from Bikaner under the 11th Financial Commission.
There is a total of 90 students in the school. Even after 10 years, the open toilets just in front of the classes are provoking health hazards. Even they are causing a threat of insecurity among the girls of the school. No electricity is there in the building as the building has lost its original structure. [..]
Even after one year of admission, 60 students of Faculty of Management Studies are still waiting to get their laptops, which they have already paid for at the time of admission. In a distressed state, students gathered at the Office of the College Dean today but did not receive any satisfactory response.
Along with the admission fee, the college administration also adds Tuition and Laptop fees, which total Rs.75,000. Students have complained that even after one year, they have not received the Laptop. The College however has offered them a compensation of Rs. 15,000 each, but the students did not accept it. [..]
