Puneet Sahalot, the technology head of UT (UdaipurTimes.com) is selected as one of the speakers in an upcoming WordCamp at Jabalpur on 15-16^th October 2011. In the camp, Puneet will discuss on usability and optimization of WordPress, the largest open source blogging platform of the world.

WordCamp is a yearly event held in many parts of the world as a formal or casual meet-up between wordpress enthusiasts, developers, entrepreneurs and bloggers.

The camp attracts many people every year as the popularity of WordPress being one of the most powerful and functional platform is growing day by day.

“I am amazed by the splendor of WordPress, though I started blogging on another free platform but since I have been introduced to WordPress, it became an important part of my profession”, says Puneet, an engineering student from CTAE, Udaipur.

Selected as one of the orator between several notable speakers who are going to participate in WordCamp, Puneet is also the first Udaipurite to do this and also the first and only WordPress customizing expert in Udaipur who is specialized in Thesis Customization, a framework built for WordPress platform.

UdaipurTimes.com is designed on WordPress platform which is the best example of Puneet’s work on tweaking and customizing it to any possible or even impossible level.

Puneet started his blogging journey in the beginning of year 2010 as the co-author of once popular blog orkutheroes.com, then co-founded FlockPost.com and later in the same year in May he co-founded UdaipurTimes.com.

While handling all techie affairs on UT, Puneet is also working on his latest venture iCustomizeThesis.com and often writes on puneetsahalot.com.

WordCamp in Jabalpur is a two day event which is divided into 2 main sessions, one for WordPress professionals and the other for those who are relatively new to wordpress.

Puneet is expected to hold different talk sessions and will share his knowledge and experience with fellow speakers and audience.
