A 25-year-old man has been brutally murdered on the middle of the road today evening at Bhoiwada area. The assailant is on the run while the community people protested at MB hospital, alleging negligence by doctors which led to the death of victim.
Vishal Mali (25) succumbed to his injuries after been allegedly stabbed by a 17-year-old Ashish Mali, over personal hostility. Vishal died while undergoing treatment at MB Hospital.
According to sources, the suspected attacker Ashish had developed personal enmity with Vishal during the Navratri festival. Today at around 5:45 PM, he allegedly attacked Vishal with a knife and stabbed him twice before fleeing away from the scene.
Vishal was rushed to MB hospital, but due to heavy blood loss, he died. The death of youth sparked anger among large number of community members present at the hospital. The mob started protesting against doctors.
Heavy police force was deployed and CI of Dhanmandi and Hathipol Police station with Ad SP Kaluram Rawat and DySP Dayanand Saran reached to control the situation.
Police has appealed community members to calm down, and started searching for Vishal Mali.
