The Udaipur Builder’s Association (UBA) celebrated its first foundation day at the Inder-Residency Hotel yesterday by organizing a talk on “Developments in the City of Udaipur” today evening.
Discussing on the all round development of the city, UBA members and advisors told us about a new Master Plan for the city that they are developing.
Lokesh Chaudhry, President, UBA, in his Presidential Address said, “Many plans and projects for the development of Ayad River have been presented in front of the city council in the past years but none have been initiated. We (UBA) are going to make it our primary issue and goal now.”
The UBA council also discussed about the road network problems they are facing during their construction projects and the parking problems in the busy areas including Bapu Bazaar, Surajpol and Udiapol where there is a need for a Multi-Mechanical Parking Complex.
Shantilal Jain, the Secretary of the Association also expressed his concern for the allotment of more land for the upcoming construction projects in the city. He said, “The Real Estate market in the city has been constantly growing in the past few years and this is also contributing to the GDP of the city.”
In the event, the association also honored the people and organizations that have been working extensively for the development of the city. Madanlal Paliwal, CMD, Miraj Group was honored with the “Udaipur Gaurav” and Late Swaroop Inder Singh Chabbra, Surjeet Timber was posthomously honored with the “Marnoprant Udaipur Ratna”.
The evening program was attended by many officials, public representatives and the members of the UBA. Raghuveer Singh Meena, MP; Roop Kumar Khurana, Chairmen, UIT; Rajni Dangi, Chairperson, UMC, Kiran Maheshwari, MLA and many other leaders and industrialists were a part of the talk.
