Susan Elizabeth Rice, United States of America’s ambassador to United Nation is visiting Udaipur from 25 Aug till 27 Aug. Rice will land at Udaipur Airport at 1430 hours on 25 Aug and will be at staying Oberoi Udai Vilas Hotel.
Susan will take city’s tour on Aug 26 and expected to return to Delhi on 27 Aug.
According to media sources, Susan Rice is possibly Obama’s one of the closest confidante and is visiting India to hold meetings with senior Indian officials to discuss a range of bilateral and multilateral issues including peace-keeping, regional cooperation, and Syria and Iran crisis.
According to TOI’s article “Rice will also be doing something Obama said he wanted to do in India — vacationing with her family in Rajasthan”.
Earlier this month Belgian Minister Didier Reynders, arrived in Udaipur for a two day visit.
Whether on official or personal visits, Udaipur has always been an attraction for foreign dignitaries.
