Children at Kidzee, Ambamata and Junior Study School remembered the great personalities and celebrated their birthdays by recollecting about their life and their contribution in building India.
Kidzee, Ambamata, organized a special assembly today to mark the occasion. Tiny tots at first offered rose petals to the portrait of their beloved “Bapu” and paid tribute to him.
The students of Jr.KG put up a spectacular show and enthralled the audience with their melodious singing reciting Gandhiji’s favorite prayer ’Vaishnav jana to tene kahiye’.
Kidzee Director Dr. Atul Sharma said, “Celebration is a way to make kids aware of India’s freedom struggle and people who sacrificed their life for our better future. To get success in life we should strongly abide by the principles of Gandhiji”.
A slide show related to Bapu’s life and a choreography dealing with how Gandhian principles are relevant even in the contemporary world was shown to kids. Playgroup kids crafted “Gandhian Topi” with the help of their teachers which they gifted to their peers. A small play “My life is my message” was enacted by teachers which urged the audience to help India become the nation of Bapu’s vision.
Kids also presented an enchanting skit on ‘3 monkeys of Gandhiji conveying and teaching a lesson of truth and non-violence. The tiny tots mesmerized the audience by presenting dance performance on ‘Bande me tha dum,Vande Matram’.
Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti was also celebrated today in Junior Study School, Khudala campus too. Students sung songs, recited poems and delivered speech based on the lives of these personalities highlighting what they had done for our country.
Kids garlanded the photographs of Bapu and Lal Bahadur Shastri and learned about the significance of this day.
