Another ATM Loot attempt Fails

Police has arrested a man from ATM of Indusind Bank at Udiapol while he was trying to break the ATM Machine. The incident took place after midnight of 21 May at 2am. The night patrol team caught the suspect who was later identified as Love Salvi, resident of Asthal Mandir.

According to police, team of Surajpol Police Station was patrolling at night; policemen saw a man was trying to break the ATM booth of Indusind Bank situated at Udiapol, opposite to Madhav Tower. [Read more...]

Truck Driver Arrested for Eve Teasing

Another case of Eve Teasing came to light today at Surajpol, where a truck driver from Pali was arrested on the complaint of the victim.

A B.Com student from BN College had come to the Surajpol chauraha near Fateh Memorial School to take a bus for going to her village Kheroda. A truck driver, Kapu Ram Mali approached her and started making offensive statements and tried to lure the girl with money. [Read more...]

Rs.5000 pick pocketed from auto rickshaw

An incident of alleged pick pocketing has been reported at Surajpol area today. Police has detained few suspected women for the crime.

According to police, the victim Nandram Dhakad, a resident of Neemuch arrived in Udaipur today to meet a relative admitted in MB Hospital. Dhakad took the 12-seater auto rickshaw for Udiapol Bus Stand. When he reached his destination, he found Rs.5000 missing from his pocket.

Dhakad doubted that someone inside the rickshaw might have stolen the money. Surajpol police has started investigation and also detained three suspected women.

Five arrested for assaulting Hotel Owner

The Police has arrested five persons under charges of beating the owner of Hotel Green View in an altercation that took place a few days back.

The five accused, from whom the Police has recovered sticks and rods that were used by them to beat up Gaurav Bhandari in Surajpol are Vikas Gurjar, Mayank Gurjar, Abhishek Paliwal, Vijay Singh Gurjar and Kamal Gurjar.

All of them are residents of Nathdwara and have been arrested yesterday afternoon from Nathdwara and were brought to Surajpol Police Station. The police is now interrogating about the Tavera car used by them on the night of incidence, as per police.

Hotel Owner hit by Iron Rod, recieves Head injury

The owner of a well known Hotel in Surajpol was admitted to MB hospital on the evening of 9th April, after he sustained serious injuries.

Gaurav Bhandari, former NSUI District President and owner of Hotel Green View opposite Gulab Bagh was admitted to hospital after he was hit on the head with an iron rod.

The incident occurred today evening outside Hotel Green View, when Gaurav was sitting in the Hotel with his mother Vimla Bhandari and his friends Aukaj Porval and Nikhil Chajjar. Gaurav was told that a few people were misbehaving with the Hotel customers. Hearing this, Gaurav rushed outside to take matters under control. Instead, he was attacked with sticks abd hit on the head with an iron rod by one of the six people who were arguing with and abusing the Hotel customers. [Read more...]

1 Arrested with drugs at Surajpol

A case of Drug peddling came into light yesterday evening, when a young boy was arrested with 270 gm of Smack, by the police at Surajpol.

Sajid Khan, resident of Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh), was stopped by the Surajpol Police, when a team was returning to the police station after doing their rounds of the hotels in the Fatah School area in Surajpol.

The boy, on seeing policemen near him, started walking briskly away from the team. When the police followed, he increased his pace. This aroused the suspicion of the policemen and they swiftly caught him.

The boy has been taken into custody and interrogation has started. In the initial interrogation, Sajid revealed that he had bought the drug from Neemuch.

Temple looted off Brass Utensils, Tourist gets robbed of Laptop

A laptop and brass utensils were reported stolen in two different incidents.

A case of theft was registered by Rakashu Rajdhaan, resident of Greater Noida at Ambamata police station after her laptop was allegedly stolen. Rajdhaan with her husband came as tourists to the City of Lakes.

In another incident, Heera Lal, Pujari of the Shiv Temple situated at Kishanpol area has registered a compliant at Surajpol police station against thieves for stealing brass utensils used for Pooja. In both the cases, the police have started their investigations, informed the police.

Girl from Tekri Commits Suicide

An 18-year-old girl from Tekri area ended her life yesterday i.e. 27th March by hanging herself from ceiling. Reason of suicide has not been disclosed by police or victim’s relatives.

The girl was seen hanging from the ceiling by her relatives, who immediately pulled her down but could not save her.

Surajpol Police has lodged a case and transferred the body for postmortem.

2 Arrested as Woman Complains of Blackmail

A complaint has been registered at the Surajpol Police Station against two persons for allegedly blackmailing a woman. The duo has been arrested following the complaint.

Santosh Nagda and Akshay Kumawat, residents of Asthal Mandir, Surajpol were arrested after a woman lodged a complaint alleging that the duo was blackmailing her of putting up a video of hers on the internet. [Read more...]

A 55 year old taxi driver dies in a hotel

Raghuveer, a New Delhi based Taxi driver was found dead in a hotel room.

He came to Udaipur on Saturday with a French woman and her daughter who stayed at Raj Palace hotel, Bhatyani Chohatta. He took the French duo around the city on Sunday and Monday.

According to police, yesterday evening Raghuveer came to the hotel room and went to sleep. But, when he did not get up after a long time, the hotel staff broke the gate of his room and found his dead body.

The hotel staff immediately informed Surajpol Police Station about the mishap after which, the body was shifted to mortuary and driver’s family was informed at New Moti Nagar, New Delhi.
