council2Rajni Dangi Chairperson of Municipal Council was seen in an aggressive mood today, when she called media personnel of the city and clarified the allegations put by the leaders of opposition Dinesh Shrimali, with Mohammad Ayub Lohar and Kailash Sahu for corruption in purchasing handcarts and allotting Vatika license.

Hand Carts or Wheel Burrows were purchased by the Municipal Council, the opposition earlier complained to the Commissioner of Council, Satya Narayan Acharya for the alleged corruption in the purchase of carts, opposition claimed, the carts purchased are of low quality and of low weight. A press conference was organized today by the Bhartiya Janta Mazdoor Mahasang in the Alok Sansthan Conference Hall at Sector 11, Hiran Magri, where a heated discussion took place on the present conditions of the laborers in the country, which was the major issue.

On the occasion Prahlad Patel, General Secretary, BJMM, Devendra Sharma, Pradesh Adhyaksh and Hiralal, State Secretary (Chittorgarh) were present along with many other representatives of the party.

In a conversation with the media, all the participants expressed their views on the betterment of the labor and emphasized on the upliftment of their living standards.

Prahlad Patel said that there are 62 categories of labor in the country, but presently only 57 categories out of the 62 have proper defined labor laws in their favor. He elaborated with the example of a Mine Laborer, whose working environment is very hazardous and life threatening risks always prevail in those circumstances. [Read more...]
