Swine flu which has already taken one life in the last few days in the city is showing an increasing trend with one more suspected patient shifted to the swine flu ward of M.B hospital from the medical ward on the basis of suspension.

Bus Accident at Bedwas, 2 died, 16 injured

An Udaipur bound mini bus turned over at Bedwas road today, killing 2 people and injuring 16.

Of the injured, three’s condition is said be serious. All victims are residents of Regar colony, Surajpol, Udaipur and were on their way to Udaipur after attending a religious function at Kurabad today morning.

All injured have been admitted to MB Hospital. The ones sustaining minor injuries were relieved after treatment, while the seriously injured ones are still under observation and undergoing treatment. [Read more...]

UMC’s 7 year old Hospital starts functioning

The hospital has been under construction since the past 7 years, the foundation for which was set by the then Chairperson of UMC, Ravindra Shrimali.

The inauguration was done at 4 PM in the presence of Rajnath Singh along with Rameshwar Prasad Vaid; Ravindra Shrimali, Ex-Chairman, UMC; Rajni Dangi, Chaiperson, UMC; Gulab Chand Kataria, Former MLA.

The hospital is a Satellite hospital, which has a separate department for men and women. It has 4 wards with facilities for First Aid. The hospital is spread across a 1,16,000 sq. feet campus. [Read more...]




Eight year old construction sees light of the day

Rajnath Singh, Ex-National President of BJP will inaugurate the newly constructed Government Hospital at Hiran Magri, Sector 14 on Saturday, April 14, 2012.

The Hospital has been established by the Udaipur Municipal Council (UMC) and the construction work for this was started in 2005 by the then Chairperson of UMC Ravindra Shrimali.

The undertaking of this hospital will be transferred to a Government organisation to serve the public.  Although delayed significantly, the people of this suburb will now get access to medical relief free of cost. [Read more...]

The Vice President of the state Schedule Cast Commission, Dinesh Tarwadi has inspected the Sunder Singh Bhandari Satellite Hospital at Ambamata today and checked the treatment provided to the patients including the free medical and other health related schemes.

Dr. Rathore appointed as new Supervisor of M.B. Hosp.

Dr. Rajesh Rathore of Surgery Department has joined his duty as acting Deputy Superintendent of M.B. Hospital, Udaipur.

According to the information, Deputy Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Manju Agarwal has been transferred to the City dispensary and therefore, Dr. Rathore has been asked to work as acting Deputy Superintendent by the Superintendent of M.B. Hospital, Dr. D.P.Singh.

He will serve this post till new appointment. However, he will give regular services in the Department of Surgery.
