Housewife died after the stove-blast fiasco

A fire mishap engulfed another life as a 35 year old lady died today morning.

The lady, Shanta w/o Motilal Odh, resident of Indra Nagar, Goverdhan Villas who was a housewife, was brought to M.B Hospital last night after sustaining 90% burns due to a stove blast while she was cooking food.

The incident occurred, while she was preparing dinner on 17th April. The stove suddenly blasted and her clothes caught fire. Though she immediately rushed out of the kitchen screaming in pain, the fire had already caused damage. [Read more...]

UMC’s 7 year old Hospital starts functioning

hospital-innagThe newly constructed hospital by the Udaipur Municipal Council (UMC) was inaugurated today by Rajnath Singh, former National President, BJP.

The hospital has been under construction since the past 7 years, the foundation for which was set by the then Chairperson of UMC, Ravindra Shrimali.

The inauguration was done at 4 PM in the presence of Rajnath Singh along with Rameshwar Prasad Vaid; Ravindra Shrimali, Ex-Chairman, UMC; Rajni Dangi, Chaiperson, UMC; Gulab Chand Kataria, Former MLA.

The hospital is a Satellite hospital, which has a separate department for men and women. It has 4 wards with facilities for First Aid. The hospital is spread across a 1,16,000 sq. feet campus. [Read more...]

Fire near Oil depot – no casualties reported

A fire was reported at BN Automobiles, a car and heavy vehicle repair workshop.

New Bajaj Showroom Inaugurated

Missing Student found dead in Jaisamand Lake

ajit-vaishnav-diedThe dead body of Ajit Vaishnav, student of Buddha Institute of Technology, Udaipur who went missing since 30th March was recovered from Jaisamand Lake, 53 km from Udaipur.

Though no suicide note has been found on the body, the Police believe it to be a case of suicide as Ajit was under depression for the last few days before he went missing.

Ajit, 22, originally belonged to Sirohi and was pursing his Bachelors in Computer Applications from Buddha Institute, Udaipur and staying as a paying guest at Hiran Magri, Sector-14. [Read more...]
