Alok Institute celebrates World Earth Day

With an initiative to save earth, World Earth Day which is on 22 April was celebrated at Alok Institution, Hiran Magri, Sec 11, Udaipur. In the event, two thousand students of school collectively promised to maintain greenery and plant trees in these two days celebration.

47th World Earth day celebration by Alok Institute aims to increase awareness among people to take steps towards saving environment and put a check on rapidly exhausting natural resources.

Today, in a special assembly presided over by Dr. Pradeep Kumawat, Director of Alok Institution, the students pledged to save water, spread greenery and plant tree to maintain healthy environment. Udaipur Jheel Mahotsava: Gratitude To God Of Rain

In our last article we thanked our Maharanas for gifting us with such beautiful lakes. In the sequence, we would like to inform you about today’s event, “Udaipur Jheel Mahotsava” which was organized at Gangaur Ghat of Lake Pichola.

The event was organized under the leadership of Dr. Pradeep Kumawat to thank Indra Dev [God of Rain] for gifting Udaipur with amount of  rain this year. Alok Sansthan, Bharat Vikas Praishad “Mewar”, Aravali Paryavaran Avum Jheel Sanrakshan Mahasangh, Alok Interact Club, Bajrang Bali Prachar Samiti and Janhit Seva Samiti, Udaipur, were the participating bodies.

Mrs. Rajni Dangi was the Chief Guest, Mr. N.C. Jain and many other dignitaries were the Guest of Honor. Event marked its beginning with a welcome dance followed by excellent cultural performances by the students of Alok School, Udaipur. Mrs. Rajni Dangi accepted a number of suggestions from the audience and representatives of various NGOs. Also, she assured to work upon the suggestions.
