“Our aim is to create a fair opportunity for those children who perform well in studies but their financial status is weak. That’s the reason when we started sorting out students for the honor; we asked them to disclose their financial condition in the form that was given to them while applying for the award. We preferred the one who scored 74 percent and but belongs to poor family over one who scored 76 percent but belongs to a well settled family”, Mr. Sharma told in a press conference held today.
While discussing about the trust’s future endeavors for these less privileged children Mr. Sharma told ” We at Nand Ganga intend to introduce more options for these students in the coming years, The trust has plans to help the students with a amount of Rs.25,000 for their education. However the students will have to return this amount on a monthly basis, once they complete their education and get jobs”
