A 27-year-old woman from Jariyon ki ol area has committed suicide under mysterious circumstances today, late afternoon. She was declared dead after being rushed to MB Hospital by her relatives.
Sohanlata Vyas w/o Ajay Vyas, resident of 102, Subhash Marg, Jariyon ki ol was working as a teacher at a private school. According to Ghantaghar Police Station, she was found hanging inside her room at around 3:30pm. She had hanged herself from the ceiling fan using her saree.
No suicide note has been found from her room, nor her family members including her husband Ajay Vyas who also owns a school has reported any possible cause of his wife’s death.
Madhav Lal, ASI of Ghantaghar Police St. has told UT that “Yet no complaint has been lodged by anyone, the body of the deceased has been kept in a mortuary and the post mortem will be done tomorrow, further investigations are on.”
