A three day 7th Annual Conference of Indian Society of Cardiology commenced today, at Inder Residency at 9AM in the morning. It was inaugurated by former principal of RNT Medical College, Dr. H. K. Bedi and Vice-Chancellor of Rajasthan Health University, Dr. Rajababu Powar.
More than 200 doctors from all over India are expected to participate in the conference of which 40 will be addressing the event talking about new developments in the field of cardiology.
Friday’s conference was addressed by Dr. Mukesh Sharma, Dr. Kapil Bhargava, Dr. Khursheed Iqbaal, Dr. S Radhakrishnan, Dr. Anita Saxena, Dr. Rakesh Gupta, Dr. Sanjeev Singhvi, Dr. Naveen C Nanda, Dr. Naman Shastri, Dr. S. K. Parashar, DR. Mukesh Hariawala, Dr. Nikhil Parikh, Dr. Rajesh Vijayvergiya and Dr. Ullaas.
A leading Cardiac Surgeon and Healthcare Economist, MD, FRCS, FACS, FICS, MBA, Dr, Mukesh Hariawala said, “Indian students and professional take a lot of stress for their studies and career. They must follow a lifestyle which includes yoga or exercise for a better cardiac health.”
Among the leading cardiologists, Dr. Naveen C. Nanda was also present in the conference. Dr Nanda is well known for his discovery of the fourth valve in the heart which he discovered in 1971 in America. He is also known as ‘Father of Cardiography’.
In the evening, based on the conference proceedings, a questionnaire was organized for post graduate students pursuing MD-DNB.
