Muslim fraternities of Udaipur are prepared to celebrate the festival of Eid Milad–un-Nabi, birthday of Prophet Muhammad, tomorrow on 25 Jan. The weeklong preparations for the festival ended tonight with high end lighting, decoration and various other events.

All the mosques in different areas of the city are lavishly decorated, including muslim colonies with miniature replicas of Makkah and Medina, holy places in Islam.

Muslim men were seen preparing sweet dishes in large vessels for the community feast that will take place tonight.

Areas of Alipura, Khanjipeer, Chamanpura, Ayad, Silawatwadi and Mulla Talai are decorated for the auspicious day.

Tomorrow, a mass procession will be carried out from Anjuman Chowk in the afternoon, which will end at Dargah of Zair-ul-Hasan Saheb, in the premises of Dargah at Brahmpol.

All government and administrative bodies have wished Muslims an auspicious and happy Eid Milad-un- Nabi
