30 bachelors tried to impress Mallika Sherawat by bungee jumping from several feet height while Sherawat was seeing relaxing on the lake shore, sipping a glass of juice and admiring efforts of the young men.
It was the shooting at Lake Badi, 10km away from Udaipur today, of a reality TV Show “The Bachelorette India – Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika” where Mallika Sherawat will choose the most appropriate bachelor as her groom. There are 30 contestants in the program.
The 40 day shooting in Udaipur’s various locations was started a week ago. Rohit Roy, model and actor is anchoring the show.
Shooting today was done near Badi Lake where a large crane was installed and every contestant bungee jumped to impress Sherawat. Several other scenes were also shot in the day long schedule.
Though we didn’t have the chance to talk to Mallika due to her busy schedule, Actor Rohit Roy was available to have a small conversation with us. Rohit talked about Udaipur, his attachment to the city, local cuisine and work.
“I lived in Ahmedabad and Udaipur is very close to it. There are several similarities in people, custom, food and even roads of Udaipur and Ahmedabad”, said Roy.
He praised the local food of Udaipur and said, “Being Bengali, I am a foodie and love to explore local food whenever I go to any new place. I enjoyed Gatte ki Sabzi, Daal Bati and the traditional Ker ki Sabzi.”
The Bachelorette India – Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika is a svayamvar style reality show and throughout the program, all contestants will be given different tasks, the weakest contestants will be eliminated in the end of each task and lastly, the one who will perform the best in all the tasks will marry Mallika.
