At an age of 40-plus when most professionals look at settling down in life and in securing the future of their family, Iqbal Khan decided to take the road less travelled. Well ensconced in his role as marketing head of IT company, Iqbal decided to throw caution to the wind and has dared to follow his dream.

Waving off his 22 years job in a strong position with healthy salary, the 45-year-old launched Mak’s Kitchen, a pure vegetarian eatery on wheel.

Launched on 21st May 2013, Mak’s Kitchen is the first officially permitted eatery on wheel which serves Chinese and Italian cuisines. The custom made van equipped with modern kitchen and supporting amenities is managed by two experienced chefs hired by Khan. [Read more...]

Crocodile Found in Well, Rescued

A 4 ft. long crocodile was caught and rescued from a well at Railmagra, Rajsamand today. The crocodile was later set free in Bagdara Nature Park.

According to Padam Singh Rathore, founder of Street and Wild Animal Rescue Society, the incident took place at Gangas Village of Railmagra. The crocodile was female and aged around 6-7 months. [Read more...]

5 Students of Techno NJR clear SAP Certification

World Blood Donors Day observed at RNT Medical College

Today, on the occasion of the World Blood Donors Day, an event was organized in the auditorium of RNT Medical College. The day was organized with the joint efforts of RNT Medical College Pathology Department and RNT Blood Bank. National and State Aids Control Society that observes the day every year, also participated in the observance.

Udaipur youth commissioned in Indian Army

24-year-old Kamlendra Singh Rao of Udaipur got his commission as Lieutenant, after completing his training at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.

Rao, who started his training on 2nd July, 2012, got commissioned to the rank of Lieutenant in the Indian Army on 8th June. He has been assigned to the Regiment of Artillery.

Kamlendra, who completed his schooling from St Paul’s, Udaipur, got selected in the S.S.B (Service Selection Board) in the first attempt. He had taken coaching from the Balnoi Academy in Delhi for the SSB and cleared the selection board in his first attempt. [Read more...]

Non-Resident Gujarati’s Meet-up Held

Representatives of Gujarat Government were also present in the program and discussed several programs by Gujarat Government to benefit all non-residents Gujaratis.

Youth attacked with Swords at Pratapnagar

A young man was attacked with swords by three unknown people at Pratap Nagar, following an argument.

Sahib (23) resident of Manikpura, Vallabh Nagar was admitted to MB Hospital with serious injuries after he was attacked by at Pratap Nagar, near the petrol pump.

According to police, the victim was attacked by three unidentified people with swords; he sustained several cuts and bruises.

A police report is lodged by victim’s father in law against two assailants identified as Raju Kalbelia and Wasim.

Before it was mentioned 3 attackers but later we were updated that there were 6 suspected attackers, 2 were identified.
