A heated argument over a land dispute resulted in a sword-fight where a youth from Fathenagar lost his life on the spot today at 10 PM in Vasnikhurd Village, Fatehnagar.
As per Police, Siraj (35) who lost his life in sword-attack was in a prolonged argument over a land matter with Jaffar. Today at 10PM, the family members of Jaffar attacked the family of Siraj using swords. Seven people from Siraj’s family and one from Jaffar’s are admitted in Fatehnagar Hospital right now.
The suspects including Babar Khan, Firoz, Chotu Banu, Shakir Mohammad, Salaam and Fatah Khan are on the run.
Siddiq Mohammad, Banu, Siraj (other than Siraj Mohammad), Aarif Mohammad, Sayyed Mohammad, Fareed Banu and Meher Bai from Siraj’s family and Kale Khan from Jaffar’s family are in the hospital and four of them are in critical comdition. They may be referred to M.B. Hospital in a while.
Mukesh Kumar, CI, Fatehnagar Police Station and Nana Lal, CI, Mavli came on the scene and set the blockade to capture the suspects on the run. The case is registered at Fatehnagar Police Station.
1) I have constantly observed failure of police force to maintain peaceful environment in Udaipur. Its pathetic for people of Udaipur to be taking such things lightly.
2) Judiciary does not live up to its expectation and hence people having lost confidence in getting justice choose the wrong path of violence.
3) People are important in this process but I guess law abiding Hindus in Udaipur are not in control of situation. Please correct the situation
