Sir Padampat Singhania University is hosting a Microsoft Dreamspark Yatra program on 29th March under Cyborg Club.
Microsoft Dreamspark Yatra is Microsoft’s initiative to introduce students to new developments in the IT industry. In this program, Microsoft aspires to reach out to students and interact with them to encourage and empower them to take best use of the software Microsoft has compiled in Dreamspark.
Spreading over several sessions over two hours long, five Microsoft representatives are coming down from Pune and Bangalore to talk about software set – Internet Explorer 10, Windows 7, Windows Phone 7, Windows Metro Style Apps and Windows Azure and more. The seminar is free of cost and expects a gathering of at least 800 students.
With the seminar, each student will get a kit containing individual Dreamspark license key providing free access to Microsoft software worth lacs and a Microsoft Certificate.
Additionally, informal quizzes concluding each session can also help students win goodies like Microsoft T-shirts, software DVDs or pen drives.
This is the second program of this theme in the University. The previous one was a Webinar where only videos of orientation were showed to the attendees.
