Man rescued after being kidnapped at Madri

A man, who was kidnapped earlier during the day on 21st March from Madri Industrial Area was rescued by the Police after the accused were nabbed from the Girija Vyas petrol pump. What started as an argument over overtaking, resulted in a fight between two groups. Shambhu Singh and Surendra Singh, who operate a pick up truck and loading Tempo respectively, got into an argument on the issue of overtaking each others vehicles at Road No. 4 of Madri Industrial Area. The argument turned hot and Surendra Singh slapped Shambhu Singh, as per the registered complaint. Later, when Shambhu Singh’s nephew Arvind Singh came to know of the incident, he called Surendra Singh on his mobile and entered into an ugly verbal altercation. In the evening, on spotting Arvind Singh, Surendra Singh along with his friends Hamer singh and Jaswant Singh reached there in a car and forcibly pulled Arvind inside. Rajesh Nath, a friend of Arvind Singh, tried to intervene but he was badly beaten up. The people standing around called the police, who immediately got into action. The car in question, was spotted by Hawk-4 doing vigil in the Eklingpura area. The kidnappers were nabbed around 11pm yesterday at the Girija Vyas Petrol pump by the police and the three accused, Surendra, Hamer and Jaswant were taken into police custody while Arjun was rescued.
