Aishwarya Education Society (AES) organized the First CSI Rajasthan State Student Convention 2012, scheduled for two days. The inauguration of the first day was done today.
The Inaugural Ceremony started with the traditional lamp lighting by S. Ramanathan, Secretary, CSI; Dr. Rajveer Shejhawat, Regional Student Coordinator Reg. 3 and M. L. Talesara, Chairman CSI, Udaipur Chapter.
S. Ramanathan stated that he was astonished by the development in the Udaipur IT sector. Prof. K Venugopalan further discussed about the Ethical practices in Information and communication technology. He also mentioned the security practices and issues related to privacy and confidentiality. He concluded his key note with the practice of Ethical Hacking, which is used for security purposes.
The objectives discussed during the first CSI Rajasthan State Student Convention were to facilitate the interaction between students and eminent academicians, researchers and practitioners, enrich participants through technical paper presentations, tutorials, workshops and exhibitions.
About 300 Students from 20 different colleges, Industrialists, Corporate Executives, Researchers and Academicians from Rajasthan and other states are expected to participate in this convention.
Tomorrow, on the second and last day of the convention, the session will include Workshops on Information Security using FOSS from 9.30AM to 1.30PM; Project Presentation Competition from 3.00PM to 4.00PM; Career Guidance from 4.00PM to 5.30PM and Valedictory Session from 5.30PM to 6.30PM.
