Gram Shree Mela, organized under the joint venture of Zila Parishad Udaipur and Panchyat Samiti Badgaon and supported by Gunjan Seva Sansthan under the ‘Sawarn Jayanti Swarozgar Yojna’, began today at the Government Elementary School Dhar, Badgaon.
According to Rajendra Meghwal, there are 65 stalls exhibiting homemade items made by local societies. The goods are cheaper in price but better in quality in comparison to the branded goods. Customers can avail benefits of locally manufactured products as well as they can enjoy the fair. Meghwal expects more than Rs. 6 lac in the from of revenue from this fair.
The Fair was inaugurated by Sarpanch of Dhar Badgaon Panchayat Samiti, Pushpa Jain with Chief Guest Vivek Katara, Youth Congress President (Lok Sabha).
Special Guest present at the occasion were Sukbeer Katara (Pradhan, Badgaon), Sushil Kumar Jain, Deepak Jain, BDO’s and large number of administrative officers.
