Darshan Timings and Schedule at Shree Ekling Ji Temple

shivaOn the 14th day of waning moon in month of Falgun which is falling on 20th Feb this year, Mahashivratri celebration will start at Shree Ekling Ji Temple at 10 pm. According to Shree Eklingji Trust the special pooja will start at 10 pm and it will continue till 12 noon on Tuesday. Special decoration will be done in this pooja and Panchamrata will be offered.

In this pooja of four prahar, 13 rudrapaath will be done in each prahar 9.25 kgs of Panchamrata will be offered making a total of 46 Kgs. and 52 Rudrabhishek. [Read more...]

Mass Procession on Maha Shiv Ratri

shivratri-2012-3A mass procession was conducted in Udaipur today on the eve of Maha Shiv Ratri, one of the most auspicious and sacred festival in Hinduism in which thousands of devotees of Shiva gathered to participate in the Shobha Yatra that passed through various areas of the city.

The colorful procession was organized by Shiv Dal Mewar, while various small and big groups have laid their support in making it thriving. Mastan Baba Urs Begins Today

The 14th Urs of spiritual saint Mastan Baba has begun today with lifting of religious flag over the shrine located near Rani Road, Udaipur. The devotees from nearby places including the local communities took part in the procession that started from Mulla Talai.

Shikharji Pilgrimage Commenced Successfully

Pilgrims of the Jain community are back to home today, from the ‘Mahaveer Jain Ekta Yatra’, the 10 days holy trip to Shri Sammit Shikhar Ji that started a few days ago.

The special train for this purpose, Bhamasha Express, with 16 coaches named after eminent personalities of the Udaipur Jain community, arrived at Udaipur Railway Station today at 9:30 a.m. with the passengers.

The commuters were given a warm welcome at the station by friends, family, community members and a musical band. [Read more...]
