Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET) was held today on 17thMay at 8 centers in the city. A total of 4430 students were registered at these centers to appear for the exam of which 4200 students marked their presence.

Parth Trivedi, student of Class 2 at The Junior Study School stood 2nd in the International English Olympiad (IEO) held on 19th January 2012.
The International English Olympiad (IEO) is the first of its kind examination in the history of the English language testing in India. Students from class 1st to 12th are eligible to participate in this International Olympiad, which is organized by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF).
Parth, son of Lokesh and Rohini Trivedi has also cleared the First stage of the prestigious National Science Olympiad in January this year and was felicitated by the SOF this week in Jaipur.

A two day workshop on Radio Interferometry was jointly organized by Mohan Lal Shukhadia University, Udaipur and Ayuka Sandharbha Kendra at Amantra Hotel. About 50 students including from Udaipur and from Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat participated in the workshop.

Rajasthan Agricultural University organized a placement session for students of the M.B.A Agri-Business course and also for the candidates seeking summer training in conjunction with the Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur.
A number of students were selected by well-known Private Companies and Public Sector Banks who attended the placement session. “Out of 18 students from the 2010-12 batch 7 have been placed in well-known Agri-based firms and nationalized banks having being given packages in the range of 3-5 lacs.

Janardhan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University’s entrance examination for AICTE approved 2-year MBA program run by the Faculty of Management Studies for the year 2012-13 will take place on 27th May 2012. The entrance test will be held at the Faculty of management Studies, Janardhan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University Pratap Nagar.
The minimum eligibility criteria for this course is a graduation degree in any faculty with a minimum of 50% marks.
Entrance forms can be downloaded from the university website (jrnrvu.edu.in/deptFMS/ ) and it has to be submitted at the faculty office with a demand draft of Rs. 1000/- in favor of the Director, Faculty of Management Studies, between 10am to 5pm. The last date of submission is 25th May.

Rajasthan Board Announces 12th Commerce Results
The Board of Senior Secondary Education Ajmer announced results for Class 12th Commerce today. Students from Jaipur nailed the merit list, while girls topped the Udaipur District Merit List.
In the results announced, a total of 92819 students appeared for the examination from Rajasthan of which 74764 passed, making the passing percentage to 80.55%.
From Udaipur, 2758 students passed the examination from a total of 3629 students taking the passing percentage to 76.00%. [Read more...]
