Student teachers of the Bhagwati Women’s B.Ed College, Chittorgarh, approached the Vice-Chancellor of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University today to report their concern over irregularities in their college.
The students raised their issues that they are being forced to repeat their final lessons, however they have already gone through it on 16 and 17 July 2012.
Final Lessons are conducted before exams in which Student-Teachers have to project lessons to school-students as a part of their teacher’s training curriculum.
Student group visited Professor I. V. Trivedi, Vice-Chancellor, MLSU, at his office in the leadership of Bhawani Kanwar Panwar, Zila Mahamantri, Mahila Congress, Chittorgarh.
According to students, the final lessons are already presented under the supervision of the officials sent by the University itself, but the University is not accepting the given lessons.
As per Seema Garg, one of the students, “We were informed at the time of our last exam that was on 14 September, to reappear in the final lessons. This all happened because recently the government has rejected the approval of the college.”
“I have asked for three days to look forward in this matter. We will work according to the law and will definitely find a way through”, said I. V. Trivedi.
Supporting the students, University’s Student Union also came forward, “ABVP is with them and if the University doesn’t sort out the issue in the given period of time, student union will protest for the student rights”, said Pankaj Borana, President, Student Union, MLSU.
