‘Chatra Sangarsh Samiti’, a political union of students, declared Deepak Sharma as a participating contender for the upcoming student election in Mohan Lal Sukhadiya University (MLSU), scheduled on 18th August.
Deepak Sharma was announced as a candidate for the post of University President by Chatra Sangarsh Samiti. On the occasion, Deepak Sharma mentioned that this year student union election is a fight for self-respect and against prevailing dictatorship.
The Sangarsh Samiti has also given their agenda for the election, focus of which is to solve commonly faced problems by the students, facilitating students with Zero balance account banks, opening stationery counters in campus and also starting special buses for students from Surajpol circle to the University campus.
“My target is to attain student welfare and restoring educational environment in the University”, said Deepak Sharma.
Sources informed that Deepak had faced number of problems before being announced as candidate, as he didn’t get admission in Phd and finally landed up with LLM from Law College. Inspite of all controversies he is considered as a strong candidate.
