Being a parent of a kid going to Nursery, I’m delighted by this news and would like to forward my thanks to our honorable Collector Sir. Thank you sir, I hope my thanks will reach you through Udaipurtimes!

Next, I’d humbly and deeply request you to order all schools and school-van drivers to set some roof-top cover for their vans so that those vans do not get severely hot in the heat of the mid day. After school, all these vans carry 15 to 20 kids to back home, and the internal heated environment is just not bearable even for us elders. Please help all our tender kids of the city that face that excessive burning heat every day.

Thanks once again for caring for our kids,
Pleace accept our best regards from all the citizen of the city!

  3. 9 to 12 students r also humans v need holidays its too hot due to this students can’t study in this summers

  4. ….OMG its so hot, sunny and unbearable… common guys tilll nw its the best weather of this season last nite it drizziled too… sunday aternoon and evenings were very pleasant, but it seems administration people dont have time to come out of their a.c chambers and see the reality and just want to please their respective ministries….would request them to please review their decisions and please ensure their CHOICE to keep holidays are not at the cost of studies.

    • I fully agree with Vinay. With due respect to the Collector’s wisdom, does the district admin have no faith in the school authorities about the concern of children? Are the schools not sensitive enough to know about the well being of the students?
