There is some good news for all the students who have never been to the historic City Palace Museum before. On the upcoming Sunday 30th March, City Palace will offer free entry to all the students.
Bhupendra Singh Ahuwa, Chief Secretary of Maharana Mewar Charitable Trust informed, “The decision was taken to make students learn about the rich cultural heritage of Mewar and students from schools and colleges can tour City Palace without any entry fee.”
He informed that students should carry their I-Cards with them which will be checked while entering the palace. Students can visit the palace on Sunday, from 10 in the morning till 4 in the evening.
Parking for students will be arranged at Badi pol and Sheetla Gate for two wheelers and four wheelers respectively. Teachers accompanying students should also carry their I-cards with them.
