Rajendra Singh Kachhawa, owner of Chandra Toyota at Goverdhan Vilas and his wife Geeta Devi were died in a fatal road accident near Debari, Udaipur on January 1, 2012. While Rajendra Singh and Geeta Devi were declared dead at the M.B. Hospital, their two daughters Kumud and Pooja, who were seriously injured, have been admitted to GBH American hospital.
According to sources, the Kachhawa family was returning back to Udaipur from Jaipur in a Toyota Innova car, and while crossing the Debari area, the car reportedly went out of control, hit a divider and crashed into a Trolly coming from the other side of the road. All the passengers were rushed to M.B. Hospital, where Rajendra Singh Kachhawa (55) and Geeta Kachhawa (51) succumbed to their injuries.
Daughters, Kumud (27), and Pooja (24) were later admitted in American Hospital where they are presently said to be out of danger.
This incident happened exactly 12 days after Rajendra Singh hosted a lavish party to celebrate his birthday on 20th December, where all of his staff from Kota, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur were present.
Kachhawa, who originally belongs to Jodhpur, had settled down in Udaipur many years ago. The couple leaves behind three daughters.
