Why Ban on Polythene Failed in Udaipur?

After many attempts it seems hard for local authority in Udaipur to make a polythene-free city.

Apparently it is one serious havoc not only Udaipur but most of the cities in the world is fighting. However, I didn’t asked anyone that why it is so difficult to give-up plastics; rather I tried analyzing by my own with some short term research on the human behavior and our changed lifestyle.

I tried figuring out reasons why polythene and/ or plastic ban is unsuccessful till now in our city Udaipur. [Read more...]

Tribute To 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack Victims

After every night, comes morning. After sorrow, happiness arrives and this goes on. Life is full of ups and downs, incidents and emotions, actions and their reactions. It is a never ending cycle and we try adapting to it. Some incidents, however, leave a long lasting impact on the human mind and their effects linger long.

I have two of such incidents which left a deep impact on my life, let me share both of them. One when I lost my father on 12th March 1993 and second when not only Mumbai but whole India was under terrorists attack on 26th November 2008

Obviously the first incident is too personal and inconsolable but the second one was also not less gruesome. 26th November – the day when Mumbai was attacked by terrorists which left more than 100 people killed and many hundreds injured. [Read more...]

CORRUPT NUMBER PLATES!!

After decades of colonial rule, India declared its independence on 15th August 1947. I feel dejected for not being able to see that first rising sun, those twittering of birds and flowing of fragrant air of freedom.

Be it a walking on street, driving a car, in our day- to-day job, being part of a religious procession or the biggest of all, while voting. Democracy gives us some extra power and enhances this feeling of being free.

I am sure you agree to my thoughts. But will you continue to feel the same once you read further I can’t tell. [Read more...]
