Alleging forged and illicit arrangement of paid-parking in MB Hospital compound, the activists of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) expressed their agitation and demanded strict action against the parking system of hospital.
The situation was controlled after the intervention of police and hospital authorities.
Jinendra Shastri, President of BJYM, reached the M.B. Hospital along with the large number of party activists and started protesting against the alleged illegal activities of the parking tender holder and his staff.
Shastri alleged that parking staff are always bullying the common people, cases of physical and verbal abuses were also reported many a times with the attendants of the patients and sometimes even with the patients including women.
Shastri said that “they take money for parking without any rule and sometimes they charge ten to twenty times more for parking vehicles from the people visiting the hospital”.
The situation turned tensed at the office of Dr. D.P. Singh (Superintendent, M.B. Hospital) as there were heated arguments between the parking contractor and BJYM workers, and also with C.I. D.P. Singh said that “we had already suspended the tender but the tender holder has brought an interim stay order from the court.”
