In an initiative to carry out corporate social responsibility towards the city of Udaipur, Big Bazaar the chain of grocery store has accomplished their first activity, today at Fateh Sagar Lake. Nearly 50 employees of India’s one of the biggest stores has wash cleaned the whole of Fateh sagar paal and spread the message of cleanliness.
According to Deepak Sharma, Marketing Head of Big Bazaar Udaipur, this is the first activity they have executed under the program called “Aapki Seva Mein” (In Your Service). Sharma said, “we started this from Fateh Sagar lake because Udaipur is best known for its lakes and what could be better than cleaning the lakeside”.
Big Bazaar will perform such activities on regular basis; Sharma told UT, “we will keep coming up with such activities in hospitals, schools, roads etc and raise social issues to make the city a better place”.
Today the team of Big Bazaar washed up the paal in 3 hours team work. With Marketing Head Deepak Sharma, Store Manager Anuj Singh and Managers Mukesh Jain, Bherulal Dangi, Lalit Jetwani, Ismail Mansoori and Vinay Jain also contributed with the team.
