The presence of water hyacinth has been a major problem at Swaroop Sagar and clearly a blot on beauty of the picturesque lake. The team at Big Bazaar today took it on to themselves to take a shot at cleaning part of the water hyacinth from the lake.
Starting at 8:30 in the morning, a large section of the Big Bazaar staff gathered at Swaroop Sagar and started the lake cleaning process. The effort lasted for about two and a half hours.
“We all live in a society and hence have some responsibility towards it. If we all take out some time from our daily schedule and work towards the city cleanliness, then together we can make a big difference”, said, Anuj Singh, Store Manager-Big Bazaar Udaipur.
He further said that Big Bazaar is dedicated to its corporate social responsibility towards the city and will continue with these efforts in months to come.
The cleanliness drive was part of the “Aapki Seva Mein” initiative by Big Bazaar Udaipur.
Great attitute towards social responsibility which is getting diminished in modern era and few days before some kids from “The Study” were setting example for the same.
Wish some more individuals ,institutions,business houses,industrialists,and any one else interested in a clean and green udaipur would choose any area however small that suits their convenience to clean would help the cause of keeping our city clean and beautiful.thanks the study and big bazaar
