On the Golden Jubilee of Bar Association, Udaipur, the Golden Jubilee Award Ceremony and Legal Seminar was held today at Sukhadia Auditorium of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University.
The Chief Guests on the occasion were Justice Govind Mathur, Justice Gopal Krishna Vyas and Mahesh Chandra Sharma, Rajasthan High Court Judges, A.K. Jain, District & Session Judge, Rajasthan and P.H. Pareek, President, Supreme Court Bar Association.
The opening session of the program started with a seminar to discuss Media Trials and Its Impacts and Ravi from ETV, Mohammed Illias, Sudhir Mishra, Dainik Bhaskar and AK Pareek expressed their views.
They elaborated on the support media provides to trials, and on the contribution of investigation by journalists on. local trials. There have been numerous cases of media reopening closed cases and bringing justice to the masses.
After Lunch, the second session focused on “Cyber Law and Society”. The speakers included Presidents of Bar Associations from Dungarpur, Bhilwara, Banswara, Rajsamand and Udaipur.
Ravi Chirna, High Court Advocate and Cyber Law expert, discussed and explained cybercrimes to the audience. Chirna also advised everyone to take precautions, like not giving out personal details to a stranger and discussed the Cyber Act.
The third session of the day included Prize distribution. Attorneys honored 18 prominent and experienced lawyers, including Akshay Singh Devpura who is practicing law since 1932.
