Haraval-2, the second cycle marathon was organized today by Shikshantar and saw immense participation by many cycling enthusiasts including students and foreigners. The motto was inspiring others to take cycle as a mode of transport and work towards a clean and green Udaipur.
The 30km ride through the beautiful countryside and city areas was enjoyed by all cycling enthusiast.

A mass procession was conducted in Udaipur today on the eve of Maha Shiv Ratri, one of the most auspicious and sacred festival in Hinduism in which thousands of devotees of Shiva gathered to participate in the Shobha Yatra that passed through various areas of the city.
Armed with the help and participation of non resident Indians, an attempt is being made to develop southern Rajasthan. Many non profit and non government organizations working in Southern Rajasthan, including scientists, industrialists, educationists and other responsible citizens will come together to form the “Mewar Development Coalition”.
It was a moment of pride and joy for Udaipur to witness a world record attempt made by 10 daredevils of the Indian Army, who have travelled across three cities of Rajasthan covering 700km in 3 days by hang-gliding.
A two day workshop on effective writing is being conducted this weekend, 18th and 19th February 2012 at the Techno NJR Institute of Technology, Udaipur.
