Honda’s Dream Yuga Launched

 

Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India Private Limited (HMSI) launched their 110cc bike ‘Dream Yuga’ in an event held at Celebration Mall today.

The bike was launched by Ashish Agrawal, Financial Secretary of Pacific University and Sandeep Rana, Sales Area Manager at Honda.

“Soichiro Honda, Founder of Honda, in 1949 unveiled Honda Motorcycle Model D which went by the name Dream.  After a journey of 50 successful years we are launching Dream Yuga”, said Sandeep Rana in a Press Conference held at Alka Hotel before the launch.

Dream Yuga offers an 110cc Honda Engine, with a power of 6.35 kW (8.5 BHP) with 7,500 RPM all at a noteworthy 72 KMPL. [Read more...]

BJP Trade Cell Meeting Concludes

Bhartiya Janata Party’s Trade Cell organized its State-level Meeting today with Mukesh Parikh as the Chief Guest.

According to Mukesh Parikh, the Central Government is inviting foreign traders via FDI and their sole motive is to destroy the business of Indian traders.  “Foreign companies will reap profits from their products and take them all away from India as it happened in the past when India was colonized.  We will never let foreign firms engage in trading enter India via FDI at any cost,” Parikh stated.

Tanvir Krishnawat, Regional In-Charge of Trade Cell said, “BJP will protest if the Central Government does not end futures trading, the main cause of Inflation”.  He also accused the “two-proged” statements of P. Chidambaram and Sharad Pawar, both Ministers in the Union Cabinet. [Read more...]

Governor overjoyed watching Glass Collection at Crystal Gallery

Margaret Alva, Governor of Rajasthan visited Crystal Gallery at the Fateh Prakash Convention Hall of City Palace in the evening today, her 3rd day at Udaipur.

The Governor reached Darbar Hall with her husband, two sisters and a caravan of Police and Administrative officers.  At the Darbar Hall, she was received by Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Executive Director of HRH Group of Hotels, who presented her a bouquet.

Overwhelmed with happiness upon seeing the Glass collection of Crystal Gallery, Alva wrote in the visitor’s book, “The distinctive collection of artifacts at Crystal gallery is adorable.”. She also praised the vivid and aristocratic paintings in Darbar Hall. [Read more...]

Governor’s Third Day in Udaipur

Margaret Alva, Governor of Rajasthan inspected an Eco-Tourism site developed under the Forestry & Biodiversity Project at Kevra Ki Naal, and a MGNREGA work-site at Pilader village on the 3rd day of her four day Udaipur visit. Governor also paid a surprise visit to a Primary School and Anganbadi at Paloona village.

At the Eco-Tourism site, Alva hoped that the new tourism site will create job opportunities for local tribals.  Administrative officers, namely, Dr. Subodh Agrawal, Divisional Commissioner; Hemant Kumar Gera, District Collector; Hariprasad Sharma, Superintendent of Police, and O.P Sharma, Chief Forest Conservator and Deputy Forest Conservator were present with her along with Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya, Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj. 19 Year Old commits suicide by hanging herself

Pinki Vaishnav (19), a 2nd year B.Com student committed suicide by hanging herself last night at her home at Kailash Colony, Machla Magra.

According to her father, Bansidas Vaishnav and other family members, Pinki received a call from an unidentified caller yesterday night and was distressed since.

However, her parents grew worried when she neither came out nor respond after some hours of locking herself into her room.   Family members broke the door only to see the corpse of Pinki hanging from the ceiling fan.

Surajpol Police station has lodged the case. Police said that they’re going to investigate the call details on Pinki’s cellphone.  The body of the deceased has been handed over to the family after postmortem.

2nd day of Margaret Alva’s Udaipur Visit

Margaret Alva, on her 2nd day of the 4-day Udaipur visit attended a meeting of West Zone Cultural Center (WZCC), launched two books under Documentation Plan of WZCC at Anand Bhawan and inspected the Rajasthan Literature Academy.

Among her plans for tomorrow, the Governor will inspect various projects and implementation of policies in tribal areas.  She’ll depart for Kevra Ki Naal at 8:00 am and inspect the Eco-tourism site on Tribals recently developed by the Forest Department.  The rest of her schedule for the day includes inspection of the Center of Fisheries Development Center and Nutrition Production Center at Jaisamand, visiting Daal Hostel in Salumber and arrival at the Circuit House again at 2 pm. BJP’s Trade Cell Meet-up to be Lead by Mukesh Parikh

The meeting of the Bhartiya Janata Party’s Trade Cell (Vyapar Prakosht) will be held at Hotel Royal Palace tomorrow at 8 am.

Various dignitaries and other members will attend the meeting. Tanvir Singh, Divisional In-charge of the Trade cell informed that Mukesh Parikh, BJP Regional President, will head the meeting.

The agenda of the meeting will be to decide outlines of the state-level conference of the trade cell to be held in Udaipur next month and discussions related to future workings of the cell.

BJP workers will receive Mukesh Parikh today upon his arrival in Udaipur tonight.

Margaret Alva arrives in Udaipur, Admires Lakes, Gardens & Shilpgram

Margaret Alva, Governor of Rajasthan formally inaugurated the Herbal Park at Shilpgram today on the first day of her four day visit to the city. She also visited Saheliyon ki Bari.

The Herbal Park, started a year ago, has 50 plant species each with a unique medicinal property.

Margaret Alva did a lot of shopping from the shops of craftsmen after reaching Shilpgram at 5:45 in the evening and watched a tribal dance and a puppet show. She especially adored the Leheriya saaris, native to Rajasthan. [Read more...]
