Such is the milieu all around with the Faagutsav in the air; colors and water guns in the market and all waiting eagerly to smear each other’s faces.

Computer Education Just a Showoff: Kiran Maheshwari

BJP National General Secretary and Rajsamand MLA, Kiran Maheshwari said that government of Rajasthan has failed badly in providing computer education. A question was asked by Kiran on the condition of computer education in the district of Rajsamand.

In reply to her question it was answered that there are 231 senior and senior secondary schools in the district of which computer education is available only in 124 schools. Out of this only 23 schools have telephone facility. Due to all these limitations students cannot be given internet training. In the year 2011-12, 98 lakh rupees were paid for computer education in these schools. [Read more...]




Dispersion of Various Colors, Neurotech-12

The second day of Neurotech-12 ended with various competitions and events. Dean, CTAE, Dr. N.S. Rathore informed that on 3rd March, many activities including Bridge Making, Break-the-Code, Face Painting, Rangoli, Treasure Hunt, Ad Mad, Collage and Technical Paper Presentation were conducted.

In Bridge Making Competition 15 students participated and their models were tested according to the capacity of weight they can carry and unexpectedly the students of engineering made models that could carry 100 times more load than was expected. [Read more...]

Bohra Youth carries protest rally

Members of the Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat (Youth) took out a protest rally against an alleged disallowed reconstruction work going on at the shrine of Syedi Luqman ji at Bohrawadi by the members of the Dawoodi Bohra Shia Jamaat (Shabaab) today.

The rally, which started from Bohrawadi, ended at the Collector’s office. The conflict between both divisions of the community arose due to the construction work going on in the shrine area from the last many months, which the Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat Says is against the Waqf Law, while the other group is claiming it to be as per the law.
