Enthralling Events on the Fourth Day of 27th WZCC Youth Fest

The fourth day of the 27thWest Zone Inter University Youth Festival, hosted by Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur saw a spread of colours when the participants beautifully depicted various traditions through colors in a Rangoli Competition spreading the message that youth can be attached to our healthy and ancient traditions. This event saw 31 participants in all.

A Gazal Competiton on the fourth day of the festival at UCSSH Seminar Hall drew tremendous appreciation and applause from the audience when 29 contestants came on stage one by one to enthrall the gathering by their melodious compositions displaying varied emotions. [Read more...]




Vodafone India Launches ‘Start-Stop’ Service

Vodafone India has started ‘Start-Stop’ service for their customers in all the circles. Now the customers can send messages to start or stop any value added service by sending an SMS on number 321 and this will simplify the process of starting or stopping any value added service like music, games, news, etc.

Kumar Ramnathan, Marketing Chief of Vodafone India said, “In present times a mobile is not only a medium of conversation but also a means of entertainment. Herbal Treatment for Various Diseases

A two days 18th Herbal Medicine Camp was organized by Yoga Seva Samiti on 6th and 7th December at their premises in which 560 patients were treated by Dr. B. R. Taneja.

Founder of Yoga Seva Samiti, Dr. Sunderlal Dak said, that during these two days, old, young and children were treated for problems related to backbone, slip disk, cervical spodylitis, joint pain, migraine, jaundice, paralysis, kidney stones, headache, etc. through simple, effective and harmless Ayurvedic herbal medicines.

He further added, “Yoga Seva Samiti conducts such camps twice or thrice in a year for the benefit of the people.”




Multi-talent events on Day III of WZCC Inter-University Youth Festival

Continuing to add charm to the Golden Jubilee celebration of MLSU, the 5-day 27th West Zone Inter University Youth Festival was in full swing on the third day.

One is young not by age but by his thoughts and Anna Hazare is an excellent example of this.  In the Elocution organized today at Faculty of Management Studies, MLSU, these views were expressed by the participants belonging to the 27 teams that participated in the event.  In the afternoon at 3 pm, Mimicry was conducted in which contestants’ mocked leaders, actors, terrorist activities, etc. which tickled the funny bone with the spectators.

Prof. Sodani, Dean Students Welfare informed that Classical Instrumental Solo Competition was organized at the Seminar Hall of U.C.S.S.H, in which teams from 17 universities took part. The time limit for the event was 10 minutes in which the contestants displayed their talent in playing various musical instruments including flute, harmonium and sitar. Vice-Chancellor, Prof. I. V.
