Drawing Competition for Kids

Arora Progressive Group that aims at the developing hidden talents of the children of Arora Khatri Community organized a Drawing Competition for the children of the community in two groups on Sunday 14th October at Sukhadia Memorial, Durga Nursery Road, Udaipur.

“Career Counselling and Mentoring Session” commenced at R.N.T. Medical College today, as an initiative by Indian Medical Students’ Association (IMSA) which is a pan India self-governed undergraduate association that has been formulated around June 2011 by the students of batch 2006 and 2007 from all over the country.

It is the most popular and fast growing medical undergraduate association with more than 10,000 members from the nook and corner of the country. It has been devised with a motive of promoting the feeling of ‘Oneness’ amongst all the medical students and to impart knowledge about how to plan future by helping students to reshape their vision and perspectives. Zila Parishad General Meeting Held

zila-parishad-udaipur1The general meeting of the District Council (Zila Parishad) was organised today where the regional issues were highlighted by the people’s representatives.

The meeting was led by Madhu Mehta, District Chief in which she asked the authorities from various departments to take a note of the issues highlighted by the representatives and do the needful and give the information about it to the House (Council).

The working agencies were instructed to work on and file a report on the points raised on Road Construction by Parmanand Mehta, Premprakash Labana and Khayalilal Suhalka. MLSU all set for BSTC Entrance Exam

All the arrangements for State level BSTC Entrance Exam to be organized on 6th May, Sunday by MohanLal Sukhadia University (MLSU) have been completed. To maintain transparency and to strengthen the system of the examination the candidates’ thumb impression will be taken along with the signature and video recording.

Coordinator of BSTC Entrance Exam Prof. Venugopalan told that throughout the state 425 examination centers have been made for 1 lakh 51 thousand and 412 candidates. In each district there is a Main Observer. Besides this, groups of more than 100 observers have been sent from Udaipur to keep a keen eye on different centers. About 600 employees have posted on duty for the smooth conducting of exam. However, flying squads have also been made and special police force has been deployed at sensitive centers.

Professor I.V.Trivedi, Vice-chancellor of MLSU informed that candidates can contact the helpline number in case they have failed to get their roll no. or information about their center. They can also visit university’s website to get the number of their district’s observer to find out any information or help required.

Conglomeration-2012: A Glittering Evening at DPS Udaipur

dps-event-udaipur5Delhi Public School, Udaipur, presented Conglomeration-2012 on its premises on the evening of April 30 to celebrate completion of five years in the city. The programme showcased an array of glittering events through Convocation 2012, Earth Day Celebration and a presentation of its five glorious years.

District Collector Hemant Gera was the chief guest for the evening and also present were other dignitaries and parents. The programme began with a prayer and was followed by a welcome address by Nikki Agarwal, director of the school.
