Disney, Doraemon, and Ben Ten; these name attracts kids the most, and so these were the names given to three groups in this 1st Inter School Drawing Competition held at Central Public School Udaipur today.

Regional Science Fair at St.Pauls School
Regional level Science and Teaching Aid Competitions organized by Marie Curie Science Club of St. Pauls School and Department of Science and Technology Udaipur, started today on 6th and will continue till 7th October from 10 AM to 2 PM in St. Pauls School’s premises.
Schools from Bhilwara, Banswara, Chittorgarh, and Udaipur are participating in the competitions. The best projects will be awarded with an opportunity to take part in state level competitions.
Students will be evaluated on the basis of innovation of their project, presentation skills, charts and the Educational project reports they will be submitting. [Read more...]

10 Days Kids Film Festival has started in Udaipur from 4th and will continue till 14th of October 2010. It is running house full in three different Cinema Halls i.e. Chetak, Ashoka and Picture Palace in show timings of 8:30AM to 10.30AM every day. Featuring movies are Head Hodo, Billu Boxer and Yeh Hai Chakkad Bakkad Bambe Bo. This special program is organized by Education Department and is equally supported by different government and non-profit organizations including District Collector, Schools and NGOs.
It’s an opportunity to break the droning school life and enjoy the adventurous story of four kids, a monkey and a dog in Award winning Chakkad Bakkad Bambe Bo or national award winning Bandu Boxer. Ajooba 2010: Unison Of Magicians
Uaipur hosted the grand meeting of magicians from all around the country. The opening of the event was a grand rally in which 21 magicians covered their eyes and traveled round the city on their bikes lead by Baby Anchal in a Scorpio (SUV). The rally started at 11:15 PM from town hall and traveled through Suraj Pol, Mukharji Choke, Ghantaghar, Hati Pol, Chetak Circle, Court Circle, and back to Town Hall.
Grand Cycle Rally To Save The Environment
On the occasion of 2nd October Gandhi Jayanti, Shastri Jayanti, and 56th Wild Life Week (1-7 Oct 2010) Forest Department Udaipur, Palak Seva Sansthan and Rotary Club Mewar organized a grand cycle rally in Udaipur. The slogan of the rally was to promote cycling and protect the environment of Udaipur.
Program began with garlanding of Gandhi Ji’s statue at Gulab Bagh and Shastri Ji’s statue at Shastri Circle by the Mayor of Udaipur Mrs. Rajni Dangi who herself motivated Udaipurites by participating in the rally. The rally encompassing more then 600 students and 150 citizens of the city started from Gandhi statue, Gulab-Bagh and ended at Gandhi Ground, Chetak circle via Shastri Circle. Later Mr. RaghuVeer Singh Meena (MP), the Chief Guest joined the rally at Gandhi Ground and participated in the race.
