Members of the Anganvadi Karmchari Sangh (affiliated with Bahrtiya Mazdoor Sangh) today protested at the collectorate in countenance of their demands Geeta Sharma (President, Anganvadi Karmachari Sangh, Udaipur) informed that we demanded that the posts of pre-primary teachers in the state must be filled by the Anganvadi Employees.

Warning Rally by Vidhyarthi Mitra Shikshak Sangh

Vidhyarthi Mitra from Udaipur division gathered today in large number at Town Hall premises in countenance of their 9 point demands and to regularize posts of 26,000 working Vidhyarthi Mitra employees across the State.

The congregation marched towards the District Collectorate in the form of a procession from Town Hall to Clock Tower, later passing through Hathipol, Chetak Cirlce, Court Chouraha to Delhi Gate and encircled the Delhi Gate Chouraha; concluded back to the Collectorate. [Read more...]

Rajasthan Patwar Sangh Protest at Collectorate

Rajasthan Patwar Sangh held a protest and demonstration today in front of the District Headquarter to uphold their 11 point demand.

Sudershan Kumar of the Sangh informed that the members of the organization gave memorandum to District Collector Vikas Bhale. In reference to the Chief Minster, he said that if the demands were not settled soon then there will be a mass protest.

Patwar Sangh demanded an amendment in the wages of Patwaries making a minimum grade pay Rs 2800 instead of Rs 1900 and a Special Work Allowance and HRA in addition. They also demanded to stop departmental Inquiry and Police Action on Patwaries on the matters of ‘Namantaran’ and no suspension under 17 CCA.

During the protest, many employees working under Patwar Mandal were present.

City Station Railway Advisory Committee Meeting

The advisory committee of city railway station held a meeting today to discuss various points and suggested their views on how to improve the railway station by introducing facilities for the travelers.

The meeting was organized under the headship of DRM Harful Singh Choudhary, while DCM Jitendra Singh was the chief guest and M. L. Yadav was present as the special guest for the meeting.

One of the members Jinendra Shastri suggested increasing the number of coach in Udaipur-Khajuraho Express; Shastri also discussed on completing the work of Udaipur Ahmadabad Broad Gauge Line as soon as possible and also to increase the route of Mewar Express up to Haridwar. [Read more...]

Municipal Council Grants Pension Approval Certificates to 40 People

Under the National Program of Old Age, Widow and Disabled Person’s Pension Scheme, 40 people received Pension Approval Order Certificates today. The certificates were allotted to the beneficiaries by the Municipal Council Chairperson Rajni Dangi.

Dangi on this occasion said that council officials must go through the identification procedure for the people coming under such scheme on priority, she said that today 6 persons received old age pension approval order certificate, along with 14 widows and 20 disabled persons who were also granted certificates under the scheme.

Councilors Prem Singh Shaktawat, Archana Sharma, K. K. Kumawat and Dhanpal Swami were present during the certificate allotment ceremony; the program was conducted by Trang Yadav. [Read more...]

Carols echo at City Churches on Christmas Eve

Celebration of Christmas, one of the biggest festivals of Christian community, started with X-Mas Midnight Service on the eve before the big day. Pastors of Shepherd Memorial Church as well as other churches chanted phrases from Holy Bible.

Today on 24th December, on the eve before Christmas, phrases from Holy Bible and Christmas Carols echoed at Shepherd Memorial and every other church around town. All the churches of city are decorated lavishly with lights and crisps showcasing birth of Jesus Christ.

According to Parminas Mathews, Spokesperson of Shepherd Memorial, in the celebration today, X-Mas Midnight Service was offered, whereas in the morning on 25th December same prayers will be repeated, thereafter wishes of Christmas will be exchanged among individuals of the community.

Forest officials inspect Wild Life Rescue Center at Biological Park

Forest officials inspected the ongoing work to develop and set up an animal rescue centre, at the Biological Park at Sajjangarh.

Rahul Bhatnagar, Deputy Chief Conservator Forest and Wild Life, inspected one of the most awaited projects of Wild Life Rescue Center at the Biological Park.

Wild Encounter: Antelope dies at Zoo, Leopard kills Neelgai at Sajjangarh

A four horned female antelope (Chousingha) was found dead at Gulab Bagh Zoo today; Department official Dr. Pradeep Pradhan said that the antelope was over aged and died naturally.

The same antelope had given birth to a baby antelope few days back, but the baby could not survive due to congenital defects; it is also expected that the female might have died due to shock of loss of baby.

The Female Antelope was burnt after the postmortem at the Gulab Bagh Zoo premises in presence of the Administrative officials and the Zoo Department Officials. [Read more...]

Aadhar Card Camp in Collectorate disturbs Traffic

As the date of implementation of Central Government’s Cash Subsidy Program, ‘Aap ka Paisa Aaap ke Haath’, is coming closer, the situation for government officials is becoming more and more tight and sometimes out of control. Today, Aadhar Card camp was organized at District Headquarters at Collectorate, in which, a large number of people gathered early in the morning. In haste, many people parked their vehicles haphazardly creating disturbance in the traffic arrangement at the collectorate.

The traffic police was seen trying to control the situation but large number of people made it difficult for them to arrange the parking accordingly.

The people were seen struggling and pushing each other in the queue. There was only one line for man and women; some elderly people were complaining about the arrangements as there was no separate queues for them and they had to stand in long queues for hours. [Read more...]

Workshop on Direct Cash Transfer Scheme to be held Tomorrow

queueIn order to timely roll-out the Central Government directive of ‘Direct Cash Transfer’ from 1st January, a workshop will be organized by the Rural Congress Committee tomorrow on 25th December at RMV School (Rajasthan Mahila Vidhyalaya). The workshop will begin at 11:00 am and continue for the whole day.

Direct Cash Transfer (DTC) Scheme is an initiative of Central Government whereby any amount payable by Government to an individual, shall be directly transferred into the beneficiaries’ bank account, which is ultimately linked with his/her Unique Identification Card (Aadhar Card).

The conference tomorrow will be carried out under the presidency of Lalit Singh Jhala, District President of Rural Congress Committee. Along with, R. R. Tiwari, District Congress Secretary; many leaders, MPs, MLAs, Ward Representatives and others will form part of this workshop. [Read more...]
