Woman assaulted by house maid
A woman was seriously injured after being allegedly assaulted by her house maid on 29th February. The maid, 22-year-old Heena Sharma threw boiling oil on the face of Bhavna Khanna (40), wife of Ravi Khanna an engineer at L&T and resident of Mahaveer Colony, Fatehpura, Udaipur.
According to the FIR lodged by the daughter of Bhavna, “the maid first heated the oil in a pan and threw the liquid on the face of my mother.” [Read more...]

Udaipur team are Rajasthan Champions in Powerlifting Competition
Udaipur emerged as the Rajasthan State Champion on the final day of the 31st Rajasthan Junior Powerlifting Men and Women Competition and 17th Rajasthan State Benchpress Competition, while the team from Bikaner took second place.
The Junior Strong Man of Rajasthan was given to Prakash Chandra Soni of Jaipur, while Alka Swami from Bikaner bagged the Junior Strong Woman of Rajasthan in the Powerlifting competition.
In the Benchpress competition, Sameer Khan from Udaipur and Alka Swami of Bikaner bagged the Strong Man of Rajasthan and Strong Woman of Rajasthan caps respectively. [Read more...]
