To relieve the overwrought situation in society, Nine people of Bohra community were granted bail today by Udaipur court. They were arrested on 7th Aug for their alleged involvement in an assault carried out against the rival group at Moiyadpura Masjid on 6th Aug.
Advocate Rajendra Hiran told UdaipurTimes.com on phone that the bail for all nine people has been approved today by District Judge.
“We have applied for bail on several grounds; first the crime was unintentional and unplanned. All nine people who are convicted have no criminal past or any previous case registered against them, and due to the holy month of Ramzan, all of them are fasting and offering prayers”, said Hiran.
The news of their release has spread contentment among the majority group of Dawoodi Bohra (Shabab).
